Retirement the way you actually want to live it

I'm not a financial planner, a personal trainer, or a life coach. I'm someone who's living this transition โ€” and I built this place to share honestly with people like me.

Scott, founder of RetireStrong

Hey, I'm Scott.

As I approached retirement I wanted to create a space to reflect and give back. My goal is to share what I've learned about the years leading up to โ€” and into โ€” retirement, across three branches: financial preparedness, physical fitness, and finding joy and purpose in this new chapter.

Why RetireStrong?

When I started seriously thinking about retirement, I found plenty of expert advice โ€” but not much from someone who was actually in the middle of it. Not a planner, not a trainer, not a guru. Just a regular person trying to get this right.

So I started writing. For people like me โ€” in their late 50s and 60s, figuring it out as they go, a little anxious about money, curious about what comes next, and looking for a real conversation instead of a lecture.

That's RetireStrong. Pull up a chair.

I'm not a financial advisor, doctor, or certified trainer. Everything here is personal experience and perspective. Always consult a professional before making financial, medical, or health decisions.
